All the Things You Do (Mix #1)

Music is an obsession for me. I am constantly listening to it, and it has been part of my everyday life for abouttt 7 years now? That was when I got my first iPod. Since then, I've been on the constant hunt for new, amazing music. This has led to the inevitable start of a music post on this blog.

Some words to describe my music taste:

-chill
-electronic
-indie/alternative
-house
-cutesy
-rap
-catchy

Obviously these words could be used to describe a lot of different genres, but as I post more of these, you'll start to have an idea of what I like. A lot of my friends come to me for music, and they usually like what I show them, so here goes.

Featherstone (Lakechild Edit) - The Paper Kites

This song is simply chill and catchy. I don't know what it is about this song, but I have it on replay currently.

Autumn Leaves (feat. Kendrick Lamar) - Chris Brown

I know this song will be controversial. I admit, I went through a Chris Brown disliking phase too, but I am really enjoying this song. In my opinion, it is the best one on his newest album X. This song has a lot of emotion in it, and I've had it on repeat for the past week.

Let Me Love You - Mario

A little throwback, yes? This song will always be a classic. From the smooth beat to the sexy R&B to perfect lyrics, this song is just amazing.

Na Na (STWO Remix) - Trey Songz

I like this remix way more than the original. It has a much softer beat, and it is just a pleasure to listen to. It makes me feel really relaxed.

Cocaine Model - Zhu

This is straight up chill electronic. The catchy lyrics are a huge plus.

Fairytale - Milky Chance

Milky Chance is one of my favorite new duos/groups. I really like a lot of their songs, but this one stands out to me. It has a similar style to songs by The XX, but this is more upbeat.

I am not sure how often I will post these but possibly once a week? Each mix is going to be different, and just because a song is not brand new doesn't mean that it's not still amazing. Give each song a chance. Some of them are the best right in the middle. No single mix is going to be representative of my holistic taste in music, so be sure to come back for more each week. Trust.

Also, sound quality is of utmost importance to me, so I will usually post the Soundcloud links if they are available. Sometimes the artists will post links to free downloads, so that's super convenient for easy high quality downloading. If Soundcloud does not have the song, I will use YouTube.

Hope you likeeee
